RECREATIONAL GYMNASTICS
Iconβs recreational classes provide a fun and positive foundation for further involvement in gymnastics as well as other sports. Boys and girls of all ages and abilities develop skills on all artistic apparatus, working to develop their fundamental strength and flexibility for the sport. Classes are grouped according to age, standard and experience, offering a positive progression that enhances self-confidence, physical and cognitive development.

JUNIOR GYM 5-10 YEARS
Bronze, Silver, Gold
The Junior Gym program caters for girls (boys can join Bronze classes) aged 5 -10 years old (must have started school). Groups are small (8-11 per coach) and where possible children are grouped according to age, standard and experience. Each child begins at the first level β Bronze and then progresses to Silver and onto Gold. Children are encouraged to participate in Skills Challenges and Recreational Competitions, which are held on a Sunday towards the end of each term. Each child receives a certificate as a record of their participation and achievements.
The complete program covers basic movement and body preparation and provides an excellent foundation for further involvement in gymnastics as well as other sports.
ADVANCED RECREATIONAL GYMNASTICS
A non-competitive progression for girls from the Junior Gym Program. In this class, participants work towards achieving more difficult skills such as walkovers, round offs, back hip circles and more. During each class, participants explore the many different ways in which their bodies can move. This not only improves fitness but will also provide each participant with sound fundamentals for any sport they choose to play.
