Kids will have a blast at Icon during the school holidays, with an exciting range of activities to choose from at one of the largest and best-equipped gymnastics facilities on the Upper North Shore.
With activities from Gymnastics to Cheerleading to NERF parties and more, children ages 5-12 will get active and creative all at our premiere Gym featuring an Olympic size sprung floor, 10 metre trampoline, foam pits and more. Anyone is welcome! All activities are suitable for beginners.
VENUE: THE ICON GYM
Icon boasts a substantial gymnastics club facility on Sydney’s North Shore, being the largest in the area and featuring the latest state of the art equipment. Kids will go wild tumbling on the Olympic sized sprung floor, jumping along the 10 metre trampoline, landing in the foam pits, swinging on the bars and balancing on the beams. All sessions and activities are supervised and run by our experienced coaches, with gymnastics coaches all qualified with Gymnastics Australia, and a First Aid Officer is always present.
Two exciting sessions daily to choose from with morning and afternoon care add ons available for those requiring full day care. Activities include gymnastics, cheerleading, ninja & parkour, nerf parties, scavenger hunts, meditation, tumbling, sports aerobics, dance (hip hop & jazz) and party games.

Beams, bars, floor and more! Kids will have a ball with a BIG gymnastics circuit using ALL equipment! Includes games and FREE TIME!
Boys and girls will love expending their energy with ninja obstacles and then run, leap and scramble with Parkour! Includes FREE TIME.
Kids will LOVE learning to become ninjas! Ninja is an excellent sport for boys and girls who are looking for something exciting, energetic and creative. Our ninjas flip, twist and jump as they improve their coordination, agility and balance. Ninja is inspired by gymnastics, martial arts, obstacle training and freestyle movement.
Parkour is an exciting and challenging sport in which athletes learn to move freely across increasingly difficult obstacles and landscapes. Using only the abilities of their body, boys and girls refine their skills in running, jumping, climbing, and quadrupedal movement. Excellent for children wanting to work on their strength, co-ordination and creative vision.
Want to have a go at cheerleading? Cheerleading is a dynamic and energetic team sport for boys and girls. In our holiday cheerleading classes, children will work on developing key skills including stunts, tumbling, dance and jumps, and even work on putting together simple routines. This is a fantastic opportunity to try out and have fun with the vibrant and exciting sport.
Come along and have a BLAST! Kids will go wild as the Gym is transformed into a giant battlefield for an ultimate NERF party! We will play games that test kid’s aim, teamwork and strategic planning.
Tumbling is an element of gymnastics that focuses on the skills athletes perform on the floor. The coaches at Icon will help athletes develop their abilities of balance and aerial awareness to complete a wide range of skills. Tumbling can be as easy as a bunny hop drill all the way to extremely advanced flipping and twisting skills. These sessions are very popular with athletes that enjoy handstands, cartwheels, and other school yard tricks.
Try out sports aerobics! Sports aerobics is an exciting dance style that involves strength, flexibility and stamina. Combining elements such as pushups, jumps, kicks and lots of movement around the stage. No previous dance or gymnastics experience required – just lots of energy!
Come try out dance at Icon these holidays! Try out different styles like jazz and hip hop in a fun inclusive session for all levels of experience. Kids will participate in dance themed games, learn some choreography and even get the chance to make some up of their own! So come along and get dancing!
The gym is the best place for group games, come and have a great time with all of your friends. We will play a wide variety of games involving all of the gym equipment and our space. Some of the activities your child might do in this session include: Dodge Ball, Floor is lava, Cubby House building, Volleyball, Off the floor and many more favourites. FREE TIME included.
Got adventurous kids that like working as a team towards a goal? This is the class for them. At the start of this session athletes will be put into groups, they can stay with their friends. They will be given a list of goals that they need to achieve; finding things, creating things, solving problems etc. At the end of the session prizes will be given for the fastest, the most creative and the best effort. FREE TIME included.
Yoga, Meditation & Relaxation Yoga workshop for children with qualified facilitators Vicki and Emily from Clear Minded for Life (WWC, First Aid, Yoga & Meditation qualified).

The techniques incorporated in this workshop are simple and have been developed through years of teaching children in schools simple ways to find calm, relax and manage stress in themselves or their environment.
Children will be given the opportunity to recap and practice on what we have learnt plus some other techniques designed to empower children and assist with understanding their ability to focus and visualise and how this will help with gym, school, friends, etc.
Children will be provided with a token to take home to help them remember the techniques they have learnt on the day.
$35 per session or $52 for both sessions in one day (includes 1 hour of lunch time care), except for Monday 20th January (see below).
Holiday care add-ons available Monday-Thursday:
- Morning care 7:30am-9am ($12)
- Afternoon care 4pm-5:30pm ($12)
Or $20 for both in one day.
Please note afternoon care is not available Thursday 23rd April, and the 1pm session has an early finish time.
FOOD AND DRINK
All children attending our Holiday Program will need to bring a bottle of water with them.
Bring your own snacks: 9am-12pm sessions include a recess break and 1pm-4pm sessions also include a break. 1 hour of lunch time care is included when children book into both sessions in one day and they will need to bring their own lunch. Please note Icon Gymsports is a nut-free environment.
Ice-creams and Ice-blocks are available for purchase at the Gym, ranging from $1.30 – $4.00.
WHAT TO WEAR
Comfortable clothing in which children can move around and go upside down in. Socks and shoes are taken off, except for Cheerleading sessions (please wear sneakers to these sessions).
